Gerrie Jambard
Gerrie Jambard is a nurse practitioner working with Dr. Leland Berkwits, Dr. Phillip Green, and Dr. Alan Kraus.
Gerrie Jambard, NP, a Tremont, Mississippi native, specializes in interventional pain management. She focuses on evaluating and treating pain through minimally invasive procedures and conservative treatment approaches rather than long-term medication management. Gerrie's goal is to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and regain the normalcy that chronic pain can take from daily life.
In 2015, Jambard completed her associate degree in nursing at Northwest Mississippi Community College. She continued her education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, to earn a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board and licensed in Mississippi and Tennessee. Jambard is also a member of the Tennessee Pain Society and the Mississippi Nursing Association. Through her extensive patient care experience as a respiratory therapist, emergency room nurse, and nurse practitioner specializing in interventional pain management, she has built a reputation for providing patient-centered care.
According to Gerrie, “Chronic pain often affects every aspect of a person’s life. Allowing people to continue participating in the activities that bring them joy and happiness is why I chose to work in pain management. I am blessed every single day, and I really think my patients help me just as much or more than I am able to help them.”
