Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals

Semmes Murphey was proud to participate in a recent student education program hosted at Medtronic, providing local students with an opportunity to learn about careers in healthcare, medical technology, and neuroscience.

The program featured a welcome presentation by Dr. Sonia Eden, followed by a series of interactive rotations that introduced students to various aspects of patient care, medical innovation, and the collaborative teams that support neurological and spinal treatment. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals, ask questions, and gain firsthand insight into the many career paths available within medicine.

Programs like this help spark curiosity, encourage future healthcare leaders, and strengthen connections between students and the medical community.
